Reason: Kevin Millwood is on the mound  tonight for the Rangers and is coming off a 7-1 loss to the Blue Jays. He allowed 4 runs in the start but other then a couple mistakes he pitched a fine ball game, giving up only 5 hits in 7 innings. Unfortunately for him 3 of those hits were home runs. Millwood will get back on track tonight against the A's and his offense should give him some help as they are facing 21 year old Brett Anderson, who is 0-2 with a 5.89 Era. This powerful rangers offense should tag the rookie for a bunch of runs and have him hit the showers early.

Reason: The Miami Heat were impresive in there 108-93 win. It was a full team effort and didn't need Dwayne Wade to go for 40 for them to have a chance to win. I see the Heat opening up there home opener with a win, and Wade having an impressive offensive night. The heat are 7-10 against the spread in there last 10 games while the Hawks are 3-10. The Hawks failed to win one road game in the playoffs last year and I see that trend continuing tonight. The  HEat are 6-2 in there last 8 against Atlanta while Atlanta is 3-12 in there last 15 in Miami. Take the Heat plus the points.

Reasons: The Cleveland Cavaliers are a team on a mission, and Lebron and company are looking at another dominating performance. Up to this point they have not looked at all like they were in any danger of not covering their spreads let alone losing the game. in there last 10 the Cavs are 7-10 against the spread, while the Detroit Pistons are 2-10. The Pistons home crowd should be buzzing but Lebron James always plays well on the Pistons home court and should have no problem covering the 5 point spread.

Reason: The White Sox offense is rolling on all cylinders and are going to look forward to facing Orioles pitcher Adam Eaton who has not been able to get past 4 innings in his first 2 starts. He allowed 6 runs in his last start and is allowing hitters to hit .425 batting average against him. He will have to pitch a lot better if he wants to get past the 4th inning against the hot Chicago White Sox hitters. On the hill for the Whites Sox is Bartolo Colon who is 1-0 with a 3.86 Era but had a hard time towards the end of last game allowing 5 runs, but he is only allowing batters to hit .201 off of him which is a good sign. He was 2-0 last season with a 3.75 Era against the Orioles.
